Kingsway Auto Center is in business to provide the best vehicle repair and preventative maintenance to it’s customers. With more than 80 years of combined experience, the staff at Kingsway know and understand what it takes to keep your vehicle well serviced and running the way it should. We inspect and maintain vehicles by listening to our customers and providing only the services they need.
The Team
Dwight Lavoie – Owner
Born and raised in Peterborough, Dwight is a veteran mechanic with 40+ years in the auto trade. He loves auto racing and his exceptional driving skills have won him many races and a championship. He’s won 23 consecutive races in one season and numerous demolition derbies. Dwight also enjoys hockey and has been a volunteer coach in minor hockey. His competitive nature has won him a championship.
Steven Farrugia
Steven is a family man with 23 years experience as a mechanic. He has worked on all makes and models including heavy trucks and trailers, and specializes in automatic transmissions. His hobbies include playing guitar and being out in nature.
Jamie Amos
Jamie takes care of maintenance and property management. He’s an active member of the Peterborough Lion’s Club. Married with children, in his spare time he enjoys racing cars.
Sandra Van Maurek
Sandra joined Kingsway as a co-op student. She has a great passion for auto mechanics and has been involved in many types of repairs. She has gained excellent experience and skills from the Kingsway team and is an apprentice with the goal of being a licensed mechanic. She also loves auto racing!
